Imagine the crisp morning air as you wrap your hands around a warm bowl of baked oats, the aromas of vanilla and almond filling your home. This recipe is designed to not only fuel your body but also to bring a sense of warmth and comfort to your mornings.
base ingredients:
- ¾ cup (100g) rolled oats
- ¼ cup (20g) smul vanilla protein powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 banana, mashed
- 200ml milk / milk alternative
topping ingredients:
- ¼ cup smul vanilla almond protein granola
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup/honey
method:
- Preheat oven to 170 °C/338 °F .
- In a bowl, add the mashed banana, vanilla protein powder, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and milk. Mix until well combined.
- Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle the protein granola over the top. Drizzle with almond butter and syrup.
- Bake for +-30 minutes.
- Top with nut butter, banana slices, cinnamon and enjoy!
