  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a square baking dish with parchment/baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Warm slightly if the mixture is too thick.
  3. In another bowl, mix crumbed smul wholegrain granola and smul vanilla protein powder.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined. 
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the lined baking dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  6. Slice into bars before it cools. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
