Tiramisu Baked Oats

Tiramisu that’s healthy enough to have for breakfast? Yes please.

If you love Tiramisu, but want to be healthier this year, this Tiramisu Baked Oats is the solution! 

It’s packed with protein and fiber, and will satisfy your Tiramisu cravings AND your body!

Ingredients (makes 8 servings)

-    2 Bananas
-    200g Oats
-    60g smul Café Latte Protein Powder
-    1 tsp Baking Powder
-    1 cup Milk
-    12/ cup Black Coffee
-    40g Dark Chocolate Chips

Topping:

-    150g Smooth Cottage Cheese
-    50g Double Cream Plain Yoghurt
-    1 tbsp Honey
-    2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and lightly grease or line a 20cm square baking dish.
2. Add the bananas to a mixing bowl and mash until smooth.
3. Stir in the oats, smul café latte protein powder and baking powder.
4. Pour in the milk and black coffee, then mix until well combined.
5. Fold through the dark chocolate chips.
6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.
8. While the oats bake, mix the cottage cheese, yoghurt, and honey until smooth and creamy.
9. Allow the baked oats to cool slightly, then spread the tiramisu topping over the top.
10. Dust with cocoa powder.
11. Serve warm or chilled, with an extra dusting of cocoa powder if desired.
