Rich, creamy and packed with chocolate flavour, these Double Chocolate Brownie Batter Overnight Oats taste like an indulgent treat while offering a satisfying balance of protein and fibre.

Made with rolled oats, Greek yoghurt, cocoa powder, chia seeds and smul Chocolate Protein Powder, they’re ideal for busy mornings when you need a convenient breakfast that is ready to grab from the fridge.

Simply mix everything together the night before, refrigerate and wake up to creamy, chocolatey overnight oats that taste a little like brownie batter.

Double Chocolate Brownie Batter Overnight Oats

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Chilling time: At least 4 hours or overnight

Ingredients

  • 50g rolled oats
  • 20g smul Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 10g cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coffee powder
  • 120g Greek yoghurt
  • 100ml milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 10g dark chocolate chips
  • Crushed walnuts and additional dark chocolate chips for topping, optional

Method

  1. Add the rolled oats, smul Chocolate Protein Powder , cocoa powder, chia seeds, coffee powder, Greek yoghurt, milk, honey and dark chocolate chips to a jar or bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly until smooth and fully combined, making sure there are no dry pockets of protein powder or cocoa powder.
  3. Top with crushed walnuts and additional dark chocolate chips, if using.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least four hours.
  5. Give the oats a good stir before serving. Enjoy them as they are, or add a splash of milk for a creamier consistency.
