These five granola bowl recipes are quick to assemble, naturally nourishing, and built around smul granola for flavour and crunch in every bite.
From peanut butter and banana to blueberry, strawberry, matcha, and banana bread–inspired combinations, each bowl is simple, customisable, and perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a feel-good snack.

1. Peanut Butter Bliss Granola Bowl
Ingredients
- 200 to 250g Double Cream Plain Yoghurt or Coconut Yoghurt
- 30g smul Chocolate Chip Sea Salt Protein Granola
- 1 small banana, sliced
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
Method
- Spoon the yogurt into a bowl and smooth out the top
- Top with the granola and banana slices.
- Drizzle over the peanut butter
- Serve immediately
Optional boosts
- Add a scoop of protein powder to the yoghurt

2. Blueberry Muffin Yoghurt Granola Bowl
Ingredients
For the blueberry chia jam
- 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
For the bowl
- 200 to 250g Double Cream Plain Yoghurt or Coconut Yoghurt
- 30g smul Vanilla Blueberry Granola
- A handful of fresh blueberries
Method
Make the quick blueberry chia jam
- Add the blueberries to a microwave-safe bowl
- Microwave for 60-90 seconds until the blueberries are soft and juicy
- Mash lightly with a fork
- Stir in the chia seeds
- Let it stand for 5-10 minutes to thicken. It will continue to thicken as it cools
Assemble the bowl
- Stir 2 or 3 tablespoons of blueberry chia jam throught the yoghurt (or swirl it in)
- Spoon into a bowl
- Top with the smul Vanilla Blueberry Granola and fresh blueberries

3. Pink Protein Granola Bowl
Ingredients
- 200 to 250g Double Cream Plain Yoghurt or Coconut Yoghurt
- 1 scoop smul Strawberry Protein Powder
- 30g smul Cocoa Strawberry Granola
- 1 to 2 tbsp coconut flakes
- A handful of fresh strawberries, sliced
Method
- Mix the smul Strawberry Protein Powder into the yoghurt until smooth and pink
- Spoon into a bowl
- Top with smul Cocoa Strawberry Granola, coconut flakes, and fresh strawberries
- Serve immediately
Optional
Add a splash of milk if the yoghurt gets too thick after mixing in protein

4. Banana Bread Inspired Granola Bowl
Ingredients
- 200 to 250g Double Cream Plain Yoghurt or Coconut Yoghurt
- 1/2 banana, mashed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 30g smul Vanilla Almond Protein Granola
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- Extra cinnamon for topping
Method
- Mix the mashed banana and cinnamon into the yoghurt until well combined
- Spoon into a bowl
- Top with smul Vanilla Almond Protein Granola and banana slices
- Drizzle over the almond butter and finish with extra cinnamon
Tip: This tastes amazing with a pinch of salt added to the yoghurt mixture

5. Matcha Strawberry Granola Bowl
Ingredients
- 200 to 250g Double Cream Plain Yoghurt or Coconut Yoghurt
- 1/2 to 1 tsp smul ceremonial grade matcha powder (to taste)
- 1 to 2 tsp honey or sweetener of choice
- 30g smul Cocoa Strawberry Granola
- A handful of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 to 2 tsp chia seeds
Method
- Mix the matcha and honey into the yoghurt until smooth and evenly coloured
- Spoon into a bowl
- Top with smul Cocoa Strawberry Granola, strawberry and chia seeds
- Serve immediately
Tip: Sift the matcha if it's clumpy to keep the yoghurt silky smooth
